Becoming a Global Pharmaceutical Maker, Helping Eyes Worldwide
At Nitto Medic, we have begun our work to establish sustainable growth by utilizing the latent potential of expanding into the international market, supplementing our sales within the domestic market. Our first step is to establish sales collaborations with promising partner companies, primarily in Southeast Asian markets, to locally sell the products we produce for the domestic Japanese market: by exporting high-quality eye drops manufactured with our advanced technologies, meeting global standards for quality management, we can expand our business by making major contributions to the eye health of people in other countries.
In addition, Nitto Medic has established a satellite office in an office building by Toyama Station, with a unit specializing in overseas business. Employees from this unit visit countries throughout Asia where we conduct or intend to conduct business, investigating eye drop markets, engaging in negotiations with local partners, writing up drug approval application forms to be submitted to local authorities, and more. After receiving drug marketing approval from each country's pharmaceutical regulatory body, Nitto Medic will begin producing high-quality eye drops to be shipped overseas to each country throughout Asia.
